Their sound is different, sure, but it hasn't stuck yet. The fact that this song is so important to so many people is proof that it's a really well written piece of art. If you have that song that means so much more to you than anyone else, you gotta cherish it. Finally, the fact that this song has so much meaning for so many people is amazing.
Also, it is a fantastic song to play on guitar. It's simple but it manages to get inside of you and stay there. This song is excellent it's got a great sound. Most of us know someone who's approaching some kind of ledge, right? this may have been written about a very specific situation but I think it's transcended that. In today's world you are rarely ever in a room where there's not some kind of a broken heart or tragedy just a couple of seats away. What's beautiful about this song is it's message of love and self forgiveness and that it reminds people that you can reset life without killing yourself if you just choose to.
